Don’t miss out on this Surf and Yoga Retreat in Peniche – Portugal, which is specially designed for you to discover and enjoy the experience of practicing yoga and combining it with amazing surf lessons. Whether you are sporty or not, yoga is for everyone and rewards both body and soul. The various “asanas” or yoga positions help you improve your body postures and physical well-being in general. Like a surfboard following the waves, let your body follow your breath and find harmony and flexibility.
During this retreat, you will start each day with a healthy breakfast, followed by a surfing lesson. During the afternoons you will enjoy a variety of yoga classes. Yoga is the practice of combining body, mind, and breath. You will enjoy practicing yoga right at the studio, overlooking the beautiful ocean. There are a variety of styles with professional yoga teachers. You will be provided with mats and properties, so you just need to bring comfortable clothes.
Hatha refers to the practice of physical yoga postures, meaning your Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Iyengar, and Power yoga classes are all Hatha yoga. The word “Hatha” can be translated two ways, as willful or forceful, or the yoga of activity, and as the sun (ha), and moon (tha), the yoga of balance. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation.
Holidays in Portugal are not complete unless you try to surf. The graduated and professional teachers at Boa Onda Guesthouse know precisely where to find the best waves and best surfing conditions. In case you are a beginner, you will be taught how to surf step by step. And if you already know how to do it, there are some tricks for you to improve and you can also use video coaching and photography.
Located in a quiet neighborhood of Peniche, the Boa Onda Guesthouse is a 100-meter walking distance to the beach and very close to the Baleal island. Restaurants, supermarkets, bars, and other shops are also within walking distance.
The guest house is a brand new accommodation in Peniche, which lies 100 meters from the beach where sand and rocks can be found. They have different kinds of rooms, with or without bathroom, some with ocean view, all of those in a quiet and relaxing area. Guest can enjoy a big common space with cable television and Wi-Fi as well as a big equipped kitchen.
A healthy and quality breakfast can be served too, upon request. Bars, restaurants, and shops are a walking distance away. The bus stop is just off the guesthouse street.

Daily breakfast is provided during your stay. All meals are in keeping with supporting local producers whenever possible. You will be served with a healthy breakfast with yogurt, milk, (vegan or not) cereals, oats porridge, fresh fruits, eggs, hand-made cakes, coffee, and tea. All guests can use the kettle, toast machine, and coffee machine. The terrace with ocean view offers you a wonderful breakfast time to connect to nature.

Boa Onda Guesthouse lies in the beautiful Peniche coastline, in a district called Consolacao, less than 2 minutes walk from the beach.
The chilled out atmosphere welcome the traveler as well as families and groups of friends, willing to enjoy beautiful beaches, nature, surfing, yoga, etc..
The house is in a blessed surf area, a mere 2km walk through the sand is what is needed to reach the world famous Supertubos beach, well known among the worldwide surfers for hosting the World Championship Tour every year in October. Other beautiful rocky bays are within walking distance as well.
Peniche and Baleal are just 7/10 minutes drive. Bars, restaurants, shops, and bus stops are all within short walk distance; a nine holes golf course is 1km from us!
