Overview

Everest Base Camp Trek

Availability: Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec

We begin this amazing Himalayan Everest Base Camp Trek with a short domestic flight to Lukla from where we rely on our own feet for the rest of the journey. From the very first day, you will get to taste the intoxicating blend of mountain views and the local Sherpa culture. Nights will be spent mostly in lodges. Besides, enough time will be allocated for acclimatization whenever great significant altitude shift is involved. You need not necessary to climb Everest or any other mountain for an adventure experience — you will realize at the end of this trip.

The Himalayan Everest trekking follows the Dudhkoshi River (upstream), passes through Dudhkoshi Valley surrounded by Thamserku and Kusum Kanguru peaks. Then, the colorful Namche Bazar and Tengboche. Finally, ascends to Kalapatthar, the highest point on our way. In addition to Mt. Everest, the Lhotse-Nuptse Wall, Ama Dablam, and Kantega are the major attractions in this tranquil region. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Mountaineering Museum in Namche Bazar and witness mountain life in Khumjung. Not to mention many monasteries, lamaseries, and temples during the trip, including the famous Tengboche Monastery.

Finally, we suggest the Island Peak Climbing with Everest Base Camp Trek for those looking for a peak climb as a prelude to an Everest expedition.
